Booster seat cushion

Bought a nice foam, memory type booster cushion for my wife both for her as the driver and as the passenger. Beware if buying such a product as this one would not allow the air bag sensor to activate in either seat when she was using it.

We are having the same issue...does this mean that the air bag would not deploy if needed and what can be done aside from removing said cushion? Are there any cushions that work with the Palisade? My wife is disabled and needs that extra padding for her back!!
